The bonded weldable strain gage offers a means for making precision strain measurements in extreme field environments over relatively long periods of time. The gages can be installed by unskilled personnel and during inclement weather. The pre-packaged strain gage concept makes reliable experimental strain data available to architects and civil engineers who might have a difficult time bonding and wiring strain gages in some environments. Waterproof versions are 100% immersion checked in water.
                                               ROOF LOAD MONITORING
Full bridge strain gages are installed at mid span of each damper. Lead wires are attached to signal processing units that monitor forces, loads, displacement and acceleration of the roof components and correlate the measurements with seismic activity and wind conditions at the roof level.
